There are no passengers on Spaceship Earth. We are all crew.

All of the projects and educational tools being developed for the
World Class Initiative (WCI) Project Laboratory empower and support
young people to engage in real world learning adventures in their
backyards, at their schools and in their communities. The focus and
goal of the WCI Project Laboratory is to inspire and support young
people to build a heightened understanding about how changing natural
life cycles, ecosystems as well as the daily choices human beings
make everyday impact Global Warming & Climate
Change.
Everyone working with WCI is committed to working with young people to challenge them to utilize and innovate powerful Web-based tools and wireless place-based learning to support meaningful, active learning that takes place in the real, natural world.
All of the WCI Projects have been designed to create opportunities for young people to actively engage in a discovery process that nurtures critical thinking and inspires a growing community of young world citizens to share their observations, their questions, their creativity and their evolving knowledge about our environment with their peers and fellow global citizens.
What we all learn and better understand, about nature, natural forces and how our daily lives impact the Earth’s environment, will help us develop an invaluable working body of knowledge and insights to share within our communities. Collectively, this body of knowledge and insights, this Initiative has the potential to cultivate the well-being of many people and living creatures inhabiting Planet Earth. The World Class Initiative will empower young people to cultivate new ideas, complete innovative projects and encourage and enable young people to actively participate as students and teachers and as collaborators and experts.
