WORLD CLASS INITIATIVE
Project Laboratory
Project Three – Garden Learning Adventures
Our Vision
To design and create Information, Hands-On Activities and Digital Tools that empower young people to honor and value the plants that share their home and their world.
To produce learning adventures that inspire young people to cultivate the garden within as they observe and research natural ecosystems, research and plan, dig and grow gardens in pots and plots in their backyards, school yards and community gardens.
To enable young people, their families
and communities to share their experiences, ideas and insights with
the people all over the World with the hopes of innovating better
ideas
and healthy life choices.
To create learning adventures that inspire young people to investigate and DIG IN to science, history, culture and art to discover and learn more about how to support and grow thriving plants, nutritious food and healthy ecosystems that benefit human life on our planet.
Our Goals
To create learning adventures that provide opportunities for young people to design, plan and grow gardens of many forms and sizes and provide opportunities for teams of young people to work together as a community as they share common ground and learn how to reduce carbon emissions, proactively address Climate Change and share their knowledge and experiences with other young World Citizens.
To promote and nurture
ideas and knowledge about healthy food systems and ecosystems and
a better understanding of the natural world as young people share tools,
work and creativity
as they garden.
To create opportunities for young people to harvest the invaluable rewards provided by a wide range of mentors and guides as they dig in the dirt and interact online with horticulturists, philosophers, designers and adults who are passionately committed to sustainability.
More than plants grow in gardens. People and Cultures grow and thrive.
