Project Four – Green Roof Plans
Understanding benefits to community watershed, reduced energy costs, improving air quality and carbon savings with installation of plants on a roof called a Green Roof.
Our Vision
How we choose to use energy in our daily lives affects our well-being and the quality of life for all human beings, animals, plants and living creatures inhabiting Planet Earth. We must help young people all over the planet understand and contribute important ideas and useful actions that prevent increases in Global Warming.
Digital Watershed is designing and developing the World Class Initiative (WCI) Green Roof Plans to inspire and support young people, their families and communities to actively plan and participate in their own home and community-based energy projects.
Everyone should learn how Green Roofs are created and have the ability to share that learning experience with others.
Our Goals
To offer, explain, and distribute green roof plans that further young global citizens’ understanding and knowledge about the building construction, community watershed, air quality, energy costs, carbon absorption and their own role in creating a carbon-free future.
To promote community-based projects that encourage and motivate all of us all over the planet to increase our awareness and take action to reduce Global Warming.
To provide young people with the tools, the insight, and hands-on experience to help them make a positive contribution to their communities.
