Newton's Apple was an educational television program on PBS
that ran for fifteen seasons from 1983 to 1998. Targeted at
younger viewers, it was highly regarded for its ability to
present science in a fun and entertaining format. |
DragonflyTV presents real-life science investigations: "real
kids doing real science". Against a pop-music soundtrack,
children tell about their investigations, communicating the
infectious excitement that comes with making their own discoveries. |

the Secret?” was based on the national, Emmy Award-winning
PBS Science Series, “Newton’s Apple”. |
The Science Museum of Minnesota is known worldwide for its
interactive exhibits, dynamic traveling exhibitions, and internationally
distributed large format films. |

Digital Watershed (DW) began in 2003, but it wasn’t until 2005 that I organized the first “Wireless Cities” conference that was held at the University of Minnesota. DW began as a forum for place based learning and educatioal networking.
