Greg Daigle
Greg Daigle began Digital Watershed in 2003.

Like a natural watershed, wireless technology brings people together around a common shared resource -- only this time it’s digital. Digital Watershed began as a FORUM for “Place-Based Learning” & Educational Networking formed around a digital resource. Digital Watershed has held 2 conferences on these topics. My expertise includes e-learning and interactive software design and development. I was one of the co-founders of new media firm, ICONOS. It was at ICONOS, that I first worked with Leslie Kratz and Gary Leatherman during our pioneering work on the three CD-ROM interactive, adventure- science series, “What’s the Secret?” which was based on the national, Emmy Award-winning PBS Science Series, “Newton’s Apple”. “What’s the Secret?” garnered over 40 national and international awards and distinctions from the education, software, film and video industries.
I have headed creative for an Ad Age 100 interactive agency and
was also its Director of Production. I have also been an Associate
Professor, an instructional strategist and corporate e-learning
consultant on Fortune 500 projects for one of the co-founders of Macromedia.
I hold an M.F.A., an M.S. (so both hemispheres of my brain are well exercised) and I also hold undergraduate degrees in other fields. But, I have found that DESIGN, informed by research and driven by new technology innovations, provides the best opportunity to merge science and art and to explore new socially relevant futures.
In addition to virtual products, I’ve also had some great experiences with real products. First, as a Research Manager and Senior Designer for Herman Miller’s iconic furniture guru Bill Stumpf. I also have worked as a design consultant for other furniture systems, for an originator of 3D fabrication printers and for Cray Research.
