I am passionate about lifelong learning. As a producer , I was part of the core producing team that won over 150 national awards for television programming and award-winning Teacher’s Guides and hands-on teaching workshops for educators throughout the U.S. during the eight national seasons I was producing for “Newton’s Apple”. I wrote, directed and produced several national specials including a half-hour special on Will Steger’s Arctic Explorations. I produced the national documentary, “Thinking Out Loud” which explored cutting-edge initiatives taking place within U.S. public schools to help young minds successfully develop critical thinking skills.
I led creative teams at three different interactive media firms: ICONOS, Juntunen Media Group and SixtyFootSpider, an interactive agency that was part of the InterPublicGroup (IPG). At these firms I directed teams that developed television programming, strategic corporate branding and marketing materials, educational and marketing Web sites, and interactive training, marketing products and collateral. I have led creative teams that have produced national Web sites for clients that include Boston Scientific, Target, 3M and Aveda. I have worked as key content producer on the creative teams producing eight national science museum exhibits.
